Note on Cargo :-GPL won this Container delivery project t USA from their prestigious client after a difficult online bidding and correct logistics procedure. The Scope of work was to purchase Shippers own Containers (SOC) on the behalf of client as GPL has suggested to save the cost on demurrage and detention at USA ports as consignee wanted a longer free time. At the time of peak exports to USA from India, GPL did all the PRE FOB logistics and forwarding activities on time and manage to sail all the containers as committed to their clients. The delivery schedule was most important as the cargo has to reach on a specific time to USA and then finally to site.
